For Community
“WCER shares an inspiring commitment to the idea that improving education will yield better lives for everyone.”
Robert D. Mathieu, CIRTL and Former WCER Director
The Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER) is committed to leveraging its research and resources in partnership with local school districts, government officials, community leaders, nonprofit groups, educators, parents and concerned citizens to eliminate the opportunity gaps that persist locally and nationally.
WCER research projects, such as the Wei Lab, WIDA and Minority Student Achievement Network, as well as the ongoing work of many researchers, are on the frontlines of developing policies, practices and tools to close these gaps.
Through these projects, WCER works closely with local schools and community partners to move these evidence-based solutions into active and effective use for real impact in the real world.
