This Roundtable dinner features the work of the REACH project. REACH, which is co-sponsored by DoIT Academic Technology and UW Madison’s Educational Innovation (EI) program, aims to transform large, introductory, lecture-based courses into sustainable, active learning environments that increase students’ engagement in their own learning. At this Roundtable, we will discuss a foundational concept of REACH – the active learning mindset – and attendees will walk away with strategies to foster this mindset for themselves and their students, even in high-enrollment courses.
