WCER’s Wisconsin Evaluation Collaborative will provide an overview of WEC’s current portfolio of evaluation projects and evaluation questions, methodology, and key findings from two ongoing projects.
The Achievement Gap Reduction (AGR) program is a statewide effort to assist gap-closing efforts in targeted schools by funding one- to-one tutoring, instructional coaching, and/or class size reduction.
WEC recently released results from a legislatively-required statewide evaluation of AGR and will share results from this work. Advancement via Individual Determination (AVID) is a college awareness/readiness initiative currently offered in 15 MMSD middle and high schools. WEC will share results from the most recent of a multi-year evaluation of AVID in MMSD.
This lecture is part of WCER's Interdisciplinary Training Program in Education Sciences.
