This presentation will highlight several key findings of the Institute of Education Sciences-funded Center for Research Use in Education, which is developing and validating instruments to measure the role of research and other forms of evidence in school-based decisions through collection of multilevel data from district and school staff nationwide. The speaker will focus on school-based decisions, connections between research and practice communities, dissemination of knowledge and practitioners’ capacity to critically evaluate research evidence.
