The first International Conference on Quantitative Ethnography @ICQE19 features speakers from Australia, Japan, Israel and the South, West and Midwest of the U.S. The event brings together scholars seeking to meaningfully analyze and interpret large amounts of rich qualitative data.
Quantitative ethnographic approaches have been used in a variety of fields, including learning analytics, history and systems engineering, to understand human behavior and interaction.
The goal of ICQE is to foster a community of researchers interested in sharing ideas, resources and inspiration. The conference is designed for seasoned quantitative ethnographers as well as newcomers to the fiedl who want to learn more about a powerful approach to making meaning from big data.
