FAMILY ENGAGEMENT IN PRESCHOOL, presented by the Center for Research on Early Childhood Education (CRECE)

This research discussion with Q&A uses survey data collected from public pre-kindergarten program administrators and teachers in a mid-sized, urban school district to describe various types of family engagement practices and to examine associations between family engagement practices and pre-k program, classroom, and teacher and administrator characteristics. Findings provide insight into potential barriers and facilitators of family engagement in preschool programs.
