Susan Thomas

Susan K. Thomas is a Technical Editor at WIDA. She is part of the Communications and Marketing team and develops and edits materials for a variety of stakeholders. She has over 10 years of experience in editing and document accessibility. Susan has also taught university English literature and writing courses for 24 years. She holds a Ph.D. in English from the University of Kansas and a Master of Library and Information Science with an emphasis in Archives from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
When not working at WIDA, Susan can be found assisting patrons at the Topeka & Shawnee County Public Library in Topeka, KS or at home cross-stitching and watching KU basketball with her two cats, Ham and Claudia.
