Ashley Gurule
WIDA Assessment Content Specialist
Ashley is an Assessment Content Specialist at WIDA. She received her B.A. in Teaching English as a Second Language and her M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction (TESL). Before coming to WIDA, Ashley worked as a Language Testing Specialist at the Center for Applied Linguistics, partnering with WIDA to develop items for WIDA ACCESS and create rater training and scoring materials. She also taught K-5 multilingual learners in North Carolina for several years before teaching high school multilingual learners in her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona.
