Sarah Lent
Research & Development Project Coordinator

Dr. Sarah Lent is the research and development coordinator in the SimLab within the Wisconsin Center for Education Research (WCER). Before her work at the UW, she was a special education teacher and administrator in Chicago, IL, and Brooklyn, NY. Her work bridges research and practice, involving understanding and addressing systemic inequities to foster more inclusive and equitable learning opportunities at the classroom and district levels, and extending to teacher preparation and professional development. She earned her PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis, complemented by a M.A. in Learning Sciences at Northwestern University. She holds a B.S. in Inclusive Elementary and Special Education from Syracuse University.
